LOST AND FOUND PETS
If you have lost or found a pet please contact the Artesia Animal Shelter at 575-746-5041 or Distpatch at 575-616-7155 to contact Animal Control. You can also send me pictures and a short bio (Breed, location found/missing and a contact number) I will post them up on our website mattie.pawsclaws@gmail.com. If you have found your pet please let us know so we can delete pictures. Pictures will only up on website for a few weeks, so that way more lost or found pets can be posted. Posters at Shelter will stay up longer.
Found Chi Mix
This sweet little girl was found at Park Jr High yesterday around 4:30 pm. She is about 6-8 months old and did not have a chip. The reporting party is going to keep the dog until owners are found. So please if this is your pet contact Mattie Henson at the Artesia Animal Shelter to get information on who to contact.
Lost Doxie
Lost dapple doxie around 20th and Clayton. Please call 575-308-3986
Lost Cats
Lost two year old gray male with rainbow collar named Fuzz. Also lost is an eight month old brown tabby male with muti color collar named Goliath. Last seen around 17th and Hermosa. Please contact Victoria at 575-703-0175 or Dustin at 575-513-1028. PLEASE HELP
Lost Yorkie
Brady is a miniature yorkie about 1 1/2 lbs. He is black with medium dark hair. Maybe wearing a black Harley Davidson Collar with ID tags. Last seen Dec 30th around the 1700 block of Sears. FAMILY IS VERY HEARTBROKEN! Please call 575-308-7289 or 575-513-4538

SPAY AND NEUTER CERTIFICATES WILL BE HANDED OUT THIS COMING SATURDAY 3-6-2015
Paws and Claws hand out spay and neuter certificates the FIRST Saturday of every month at the Artesia Animal Shelter starting at 10 am. You must live in Eddy County and it is one certificate per house hold. First come first serve.
